these are the steps you just have to follow and you will not only able to solve the question but also gt a clear understanding abot the sectioning.
the steps we are going to use here is truly based on our youtube videos so kindly go through our youtube videos and then come here to to get a idea about he steps we will used while drawing.
step-1:-
first you have to draw front view as a square of side 50mm with one edge (e',d') on H.P.
square face containing the edge (e',d') is a'b'f'e' and a'd'h'e' is equally inclined to the H.P.
project these points below the x-y axis to make top views
step-2:-square face containing the edge (e',d') is a'b'f'e' and a'd'h'e' is equally inclined to the H.P.
project these points below the x-y axis to make top views
draw a section plane v-t ,parallel tp the x-y and 18 mm below the point c' or g'
because c' or g; point is nearer to the observer.
step-3:-
mark the points where the section plane cuts the edges of cube
eg point 1,2,3,4, cuts the edge b'c',d'c',f'g',h'g' respectively.
step-4:-
project these setion points (1,2,3,4,) on corresponding edges in top view and finally join these points to get a sectional top view of the cube
because c' or g; point is nearer to the observer.
step-3:-
mark the points where the section plane cuts the edges of cube
eg point 1,2,3,4, cuts the edge b'c',d'c',f'g',h'g' respectively.
step-4:-
project these setion points (1,2,3,4,) on corresponding edges in top view and finally join these points to get a sectional top view of the cube
